4 Days of New South Wales

We’ve been in NSW since Friday, and I think the constant movement has caught up to us.

We drove to Sydney and got there Friday night. Then Saturday we had the wedding. It was a long day of drinking and walking around. The heels I decided on was probably the worst decision I’ve made on this trip so far. It’s now Tuesday and my toes are still numb. I’ll never wear them again.

The wedding was beautiful though with fairy-tale standards. Disney songs playing on violins. That’s what I mean by standards. The bride looked like a princess which is exactly what she was going for. She nailed it!

I haven’t been to many weddings in my days but I will be using this one as an example and anything under this bar, well… It’s only my opinion, not my wedding. Main thing is the people who are doing the vows are happy.

The venue was beautiful, and the food was amazing.

We hired a hotel in the city but after the reception (which finished at about 1am), we went to a club and continued partying. We got back to our room around 4:30am and was kicked out at 11am Sunday.

Sunday was great even if we were hungover. The weather was amazing so we made our way down to Darling Harbor for lunch. That turned into 8 hours of cocktails and food. It was so nice to be out and feel like a normal person.

Later on Brendan’s friend met up with us and we went to the movies to watch Jujutsu Kaisen. Brendan was so excited and has been waiting a few weeks to see it. Unfortunately, the last 3 days caught up to both of us and we fell asleep in the last half hour of the movie which was disappointing. That just means we’ll have to go back and watch it again.

We got to the Central Coast on Monday to stay with the family. We had dinner, played Cards Against Humanity, and had a few drinks.

Now it’s Tuesday and we’ve been chilling all day. Brendan hasn’t been feeling all the best so he’s rested majority of the day. So, it’s been really cruisey. The weather has been great as well and it’s been nice hearing all the sounds of the area.

Hopefully I have an update tomorrow.

We only got a 6 more days here.

Thanks Monch. But you’ll have to save your congrats for when I do get to say ‘I do’ lol. This was my bf’s friends big day. I’m hoping my future one is going to be this good 🙂

Oh, I thought it was your wedding! I stand corrected then. Still, best of luck! 😊
