Been A Hot Minute

In the last month and a half that I’ve been MIA a bit has happened.

  • Melbourne has finally come out of lockdown after 2 months. Remember when I said we were told it would be 2 weeks…. Yeah it wasn’t.
  • Mandatory vaccinations has happened.
  • My mom got sick of this country and moved to The States.
  • My youngest sister also left.
  • We bought a lawn mower

On the up side, since my mom has been gone I’ve been talking a whole lot more to my siblings and have been seeing them every couple weeks. It’s been real nice. Brendan and I were over there last week for Halloween. Was good hanging out with everyone. Mind you I have quite a few siblings. 5 to be exact. The youngest that moved is 15 years old. The ones that are here range between 27 years old and 20. Last weekend was also good cause I got to meet my brothers girlfriend and see my nephew. Both my sister’s had friends over as well, so it was a full house. All you need is my family in one room and it’s basically a party. There’s plenty of them.

Besides that, that’s all I got.

Christmas is just around the corner and I’m freaking out about presents and what to get people. And now with some of the fam being overseas I got to work out when to send stuff cause the postal system here is absolute shit and is currently backlogged and delayed. I know this may not seem like a big deal (and it aint) but it’s still damn stressful.

Side note, I really don’t like Christmas.

Do you have a lawn to mow? Hows you mom doing in the states?

Lucky for me I don’t have much of a backyard but what I do have grows SO fast. We’ve been having a bit of rain to so the grass grows like weeds. I don’t care too much about it in the winter but it’s getting warmer and I want to minimize any chances of snakes.

My mom is doing great as well. She says it’s nice to be free. I have to admit I’m alittle jealous. She was able to get right off the plane and drive across the States with no quarantine or anything. I like seeing all the places she gets to go and hearing about what she’s doing. So I’m kind of living vicariously through her lol

Thank you. He’s quite a character. Both of them are.
And may I just add you’re “About” page is something to aspire not only to write but to do. I loved reading it and actually laughed 🙂

LOL that’s a first – I think of my ‘About’ page as the place where admit things 🙂
